More specifically, there was a "Great Renaming" as of version 1.999.22, which
broke the API. After that release, 2.0 followed quite quickly. Before the
renaming, mod-perl2 was a drop-in replacement for mod-perl1, while after it
they can coexist peacefully.

The change is mostly a renaming and moving few functions to different
packages. Fixing the application is mostly replacing one name for another.
And it is quite simple with RT, as most work is already done in HTML::Mason
(you need 1.29_02 IIRC).
