Well, the default is "display all queues the user has access to"
I'd suggest bookmarking the URL of the search you want RT to start off with.

You mean "select areas to search for"?  Not easily, as different queues have
different areas.

It's going to be expanded into a more general "keywords" system that, in the
degenerate case,  can be used just like areas.    You won't, however, be 
limited to one keyword per ticket.
