[rt-users] Referencing custom field in template

In relation to Leigh's question, I am also trying to reference the
comments in the "Resolved" comments in a template to be sent to the
requestor so that they know what the resolution of their problem was,
but can't seem to get it done.
Can someone advice?

I've searched the list archives and found that this question has been
asked a couple of times, but I never found that anyone answered the
question...

I have a queue with a custom field, and now I want to reference the
custom field value in a template.  Can someone tell me what the syntax
would be?  E.g. something like:

Subject: {$Ticket->CustomField}

but obviously that doesn't work.
