[rt-users] 3.0.10 - email setup for queues.

I just installed 3.0.10 on a Windows 2003 server without any issues.  I can log in and navigate the site so I know the web portion works.  My question is, how do I get email going with RT?  Do I have to create an MX record to point to my RT server? and will RT know to pick up incoming email?  or do I have to create a POP account on my mail server and have RT check the mailbox?
