[rt-users] lots of email in /tmp

After upgrading to RT3 I noticed thousands of directories and files were
created in /tmp. They all have random file names (like "n8yofUBHaw" and
"DJqLpiFOz1"). The directories are empty; the files contain a copy of
email sent to the queue. Email is flowing properly to/from the queue.

Why are those files created and why are they not deleted when RT is done
with them?


Setup: rt-3-0-8, RedHat8, Perl v5.8.3, apache-1.3.29, mysqld v3.23.58
