[rt-users] Session error

Yes it's writable by apache, in fact I just did a 'chmod a+rw' and I still get 
the error. Am i right in thinking that if rt's setup to use the database for 
sessions then it wouldn't bother with that directory anyway?

I don't know. I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of it. I've had rt working on 
this server before with mysql 3, but now I've upgraded to 5, and apache 2.2.
