[rt-users] Session error

We recently started working (playing?) with RT 3.4.5.
Due to certain undesirable possibilites on the RedHat/EL ASv3
distributed packages (perl is the dreaded 5.8.0) plus the probability
that we would want to move the whole thing to another machine after
testing, etc., we elected to install perl, mysql, and rt as a
"captive" application.

IOW: we use the distributed Apache 2.0 by
adding 'fastcgi' communicating with 'ExternalFastCgiServer'; the other
stuff is in its own special area. Except for the added 'fastcgi' to
the distributed Apache modules directory, no other installed RH/EL
packages were touched. (There were some moments of excitement and
profanity during the whole build/configure process. :-)

For this home-built, captive RT System I built:
	mysql Ver 14.12 Distrib 5.0.18, for pc-linux-gnu (i686) using
	EditLine wrapper

So far, this mysql 5.0.18 seems to work fine.
(Using the example config for 'medium' with InnoDB activated.)
