It doesn't matter if RT runs with fastcgi/ mod_perl. You should still be able to use the LDAP overlay in RT.

Jim,

I know it seems like a silly question to ask, but does the LDAP overlay work only with FastCGI or does it not matter?  I was looking at http://blank.org/memory/output/rt-ad-sso.html which only uses FastCGI and was running into some issues that I probably screwed up myself.
