Ok, now I get a different error:

Can't call method "load_all_extensions" on an undefined value at 
inc/Module/Install.pm line 112
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at Makefile.PL line 1

Interesting, line 1 says:  # Line 1

Is something missing there?
