[rt-users] Error when upgrading 3.8.6 -> 3.8.8

Never tried make upgrade...  I simply compile into a different directory
then link /opt/rt3 to /opt/rt3.8.8 for example.

That way, if something goes wrong, you still have the working install in
/opt/rt3.8.6
