You're welcome.  I should mention that at one place I worked at there was no way to let RT authenticate against an LDAP servce so instead I used perl to grab user data from the LDAP service to generate a "diff".  The perl script used the bin/rt utility to add or remove users depending on what the diff said.  If there were no new or deleted users in the diff output then there was nothing to do.  Just an idea that might help...
