Hi all,<BR>

We have been trying to install RT 3.0 on Windows 98/2000. But we are facing a peculiar problem here. While running the Setup script for RT, RT does install Apache, Perl, Mysql. However, it then goes to a level where it says could not connect to Mysql server with the foll. error -<BR>
<BR>
Path/to/mysql.exe -P8285 -uroot rt3 < C:\Program Files\Our Internet\Request Tracker\win32/schema.delta<BR>
ERROR 2003: Could not connect to Mysql server on localhost.<BR>
<BR>
However, we have also added an entry for user root with the above password in the user table. Further, we are able to connect to Mysql from the command prompt too.<BR>

Please help.<BR>
