<P><FONT SIZE=2>No, firewall was not my idea behind, have you tried from rtwww to rtdb with mysql -uusername -p -h rtdb and this works? Are the rights granded correctly during the installation?<BR>

The database is on a separate host. It can be accessed with mysqladmin<BR>
from the host running RT, so there isn't a firewall or anything.<BR>
