<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Greetings, </font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">I am running Request Tracker 3.6.5 (rt-3.6.5-3.fc8)
on a Fedora Core 8 platform. I’m trying to make customizations in the
local directory tree, but RT doesn’t seem to be picking up the local path.
</font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">I have checked the RT.pm file (installed
under /usr/lib/perl5/vender_perl/5.8.8/RT.pm) to determine the Mason local
path. In this file, the $MasonLocalComponentRoot is set to /usr/local/lib/rt3/html.
</font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">So, to test customization, I copied
the Logo file from /usr/share/rt3/html/Elements/Logo to /usr/local/lib/rt3/html/Elements/Logo
(preserving the permissions). And just to see, if I could reflect changes
in the local Logo file, I changed the default logo to a file that doesn’t
exist:</font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif"><a href="http://bestpractical.com"><img
src="<%$RT::WebImagesURL%>/BLAH.gif" alt="<%loc("Best
Practical Solutions, LLC corporate logo")%>" width="177"
height="33" /></a></font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">And then restarted apache. There was
no effect. When I make this same change in the /usr/share/rt3/html/Elements/Logo
file, the change takes effect. It’s almost as if RT isn’t reading the
local file. </font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
I’m totally stuck. </font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Thanks in advance,</font>
