<div dir="ltr">In later versions of RT, these seem to be known as "hints" and it's possible to hide them globally with a CSS modification, or selectively using a BeforeCustomFields callback.<div><br></div><div>
In RT v4.0.4, I'm not so sure. The message is output by the ValidateCustomFields Mason element, but I struggle to understand what's going on within that component just by reading the code. To me, it looks like that message should only be displaying if validation has actually failed (i.e. the user tried to submit without entering any value).<div>
