I haven't set up man page links, because there are so many I wasn't sure that was really the right thing to do. Perhaps I'll setup links for at least the binaries which are themselves symlinked. As for why /usr instead of /usr/local, this is because people requested this about 10 releases ago due to /usr/local/bin not being in the default path. So to make the package install and go I chose to symlink to /usr/bin instead.
