[svk-users] Problem with pushing: Filesystem has no item

Hi list,

I've been using svk (with most success) during my years at university to
manage my data at various locations. Right now I'm using it to backup data
and documents onto my home machine from my laptop over the internet, but I've
run into a wall. Help!

It started with moving a folder named Admin to Misc using svk mv. Then I did a
few other things, checked it all in, and tried to push:

brendon at zeta:~/uni-stuff/trunk$ svk push
Auto-merging (6, 112) /local/uni-stuff/trunk to /mirror/uni-stuff/trunk
(base /mirror/uni-stuff/trunk:108).
===> Auto-merging (6, 75) /local/uni-stuff/trunk to /mirror/uni-stuff/trunk
(base /mirror/uni-stuff/trunk:74).
Merging back to mirror source
svn+ssh://tachyon2.no-ip.org/home/brendon/uni-stuff/repos/trunk.
Empty merge.
===> Auto-merging (75, 109) /local/uni-stuff/trunk to /mirror/uni-stuff/trunk
(base /mirror/uni-stuff/trunk:108).
Merging back to mirror source
svn+ssh://tachyon2.no-ip.org/home/brendon/uni-stuff/repos/trunk.
Empty merge.
===> Auto-merging (109, 110) /local/uni-stuff/trunk to /mirror/uni-stuff/trunk
(base /mirror/uni-stuff/trunk:108).
Merging back to mirror source
svn+ssh://tachyon2.no-ip.org/home/brendon/uni-stuff/repos/trunk.
A + Misc
D   Admin
New merge ticket:
8607256c-df60-488f-a82c-1352086aa9a8:/local/uni-stuff/trunk:110
Filesystem has no item: File not found: revision 0, path '/trunk/Admin'

svk consistently fails with this output. I've tried a few things, like
readding the folder, but it seems to ignore all of them, probably waiting for
this change to clear. "svk pull" returns "Empty merge." "svk
sync //mirror/uni-stuff/trunk" returns "Syncing
svn+ssh://tachyon2.no-ip.org/home/brendon/uni-stuff/repos/trunk"

Any ideas? I'm no expert on using svk, and I'm really stumped on how to get
out of this one. (Re-downloading several hundred megabytes of data/documents,
and then reapplying already committed changes that couldn't be pushed, does
not sound appealing right now.)

Using the Debian packages on a MacBook Pro running Linux 2.6.24.

TIA,
Brendon
