+NAME
+ RT-Extension-Text-Messages - Provide addional actions to send messages
+
+DESCRIPTION
+ Provide addional actions for Scrips, that allow for the sending of
+ messages inplace of email. The new action can be loaded in the web UI
+ from:
+
+ Global -> Actions -> Create
+
+ where the action module is the notify option from this extension:
+
+ "NotifyTwilio"
+
+RT VERSION
+ Works with RT 4.4.0
+
+INSTALLATION
+ perl Makefile.PL

+ make install
+ May need root permissions
+
+ Edit your /opt/rt4/etc/RT_SiteConfig.pm
+ If you are using RT 4.2 or greater, add this line:
+
+ Plugin('RT::Extension::Text::Messages');
+
+ You will need to set the following config as well as other specific
+ to the notify action being implemented:
+
+ Set($MessageRoles, 'AdminCc');
+ Set($MessageHandler, 'NotifyTwilio');
+
+ Set($TwilioAccounId, 'Secret');
+ Set($TwilioAuthToken, 'Secret');
+ Set($APIDomain, 'api.twilio.com:443');

commit 6eee9ef23cee732ff345b1e08b72c3e16cac3883
Author: Craig Kaiser <craig at bestpractical.com>
Date: Tue Jun 19 15:08:06 2018 -0400

The NotifyMessage.pm module will act like the existing Notify.pm module
for RT actions. Then specific methods of sending messages can be
implemented in modules inheriting from NotifyMessage, such as
NotifyTwilio.pm.
