[HTTP-Recorder] how to set the proxy

having read the article at

i got stuck pretty early, probably because i dont fully understand 
what's going on.

the docs says :
"Then, tell your web browser to use this proxy, and the script will be 
recorded in the specified file."

my question is, exactly how do i tell my webbrowser to use this proxy ?
