[Prophet] initial Make issues

checked out prophet, ran "PERL_MM_USE_DEFAULT=1 perl Makefile.PL" (on
Ubuntu Hardy 8.04.1)
whatever tricks autoinstall uses to get CPAN to download things, catch
fire if you haven't used -MCPAN before:

(spins until control-c) (I assuem that this is a CPAN-module bug, not
yours, but it gets in the way...)
I'd actually suggest listing some other command for ubuntu/debian use,
since it's more useful to have the list of requirements so I can just
install the base packages (like libparams-validate-perl
libipc-run3-perl libossp-uuid-perl libtest-exception-perl
libmodule-pluggable-perl libproc-invokeeditor-perl) directly, and
minimize the number of things that need to be built. (Once I actually
succeed at that I'll be back with more :-)
