I'd love to. Unfortunately I have only two days left until I have
to hit the road for two weeks, and I won't have any time left
this week to try out stuff :-( So I'll just give the svk based
readonly version a short try (cause that will probably be
enough right now).

But after I come back I'd be happy to help...

BTW: If I read the svk docs correctly, I need a local svk
branch to be able to do offline checkins... So this is the way
conflicts are handled: I'll simply have to do a "normal" branch /
merge cycle... (?)
