oops, sorry about the extraneous blib/ bit in there.  I don't have access
to the CVS server this stuff lives on anymore, just doing it by hand from
an outdated snapshot.

If you like, I can also dig up a "Forward" patch which turned out to be
much less of a kludge than I thought; it would be; you get a "forward"
link next to "Reply" and "Comment" in each transaction.
