I know a few folks have seen this with RT. I'm at least a little bit glad
that it's not necessarily in our code ;)

hi,
I have a couple of components that I believe are killing off apache child
processes. to the user, they submit a form, and get back 'this page cannot
be displayed' etc, but the form submission is going through, which does all
kinds of email-sending, databse inserting, etc. that all goes through in
spite of the user's err message, but then the apache error log shows this:
[Mon Jun 11 10:18:16 2001] [notice] child pid 857 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
after ps'ing my httpd processes, i'm guessin that pid 857 was probably one of
these before it died:

nobody 861 0.0 3.9 11400 10196 ? S 10:09 0:00 /www/bin/httpd
any ideas what could cause this? i could paste in all my code, but there
is a lot of code that appears elsewhere in the site without causing this.
thanks,
todd
