That _sounds_ like fastcgi isn't keeping your script running.
does a ps show it running between requests?


Are you _sure_ that the rt.jpg didn't get installed during make upgrade?
Did you get the source from a tarball or cvs?


And yeah, if you're running 0.46-test1, that's not 0.46, which was released
last night ;)
