Hi all,
My two cents (before I started developing something similar for our
company): let's get use of some template package.
I have some experience with <http://www.template-toolkit.org>,
and it's really good. So, some common utility would be possible which
supplies the template with all neccessary data access. And the template
which is given at the input may be anything that you like:
XML, HTML, plain text...
Thus we avoid the situation that dozens of developers make their proprietary
reports, and invent the bycicle from scratch.
And such a universal tool may be included into official RT distribution.
The only problem that I can have some time for it not before
the middle of next week.
I suspect that in Mason there's some similar toolkit, but I never
looked incide.
Cheers,
Stan
