We had a mailsending script that didn't encode the subject header
correctly, and the mailgate spitted out the following error:
Jun 19 08:12:37 rasputin postfix/local[29505]: 4249CA37CF:
to=<helpdesk-student at rt3.unit.liu.se>, relay=local, delay=3,
status=bounced (Command died with status 11:
"/service/rt3/bin/rt-mailgate --queue 'Support Kundcenter - Student'
--action correspond --url https://rt3.unit.liu.se/". Command output: RT
server error. The RT server which handled your email did not behave as
expected. It said: <html><body> <p align="center"><font
face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><b>System
error</b></font></p> <table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1">
<tr> <td nowrap="nowrap" align="left" valign="top"><font
face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"
size="-2"><b>error:</b> </font></td> <td align="left"
valign="top"><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"
size="-2">Unknown encoding 'UNKNOWN' at /service/rt3/lib/RT/I18N.pm line
305<br></font></td> </tr> <tr> <td nowrap="nowrap" align="left"
valign="top"><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"
size="-2"><b>context:</b>
Shouldn't rt just cut the subject and proceed with the ticket anyways?
With the current "method", we have mails that just disappear, never
entering the system. We've fixed our script now, but there might be
other MUAs that doesn't encode properly.
