[rt-devel] Severe Memory Leak

Have done so and will monitor the server -- although it is still
creating 8 or 10 SQL connections -- and increasing, so seems to be
behaving in a fairly similar manner,

How many connections should the RT system create as it runs ?

Just comment it out in your apache config. Apache::DBI frobs the symbol
table to get itself into the mix.
