[rt-devel] Accepted place to make changes

I was making all my changes to share until someone mentioned the
<rt>/local/html is the place to make changes.
Actually very nice. You don't need to copy everything there. Just copy the
component you want to change <maintain the directory structure> and change
it in local. Mason will find and use that instead.
Example:
/share/html/Elements/SelectNewTicketQueue
Copy to:
/local/html/Elements/Select...
And change it there.
When you upgrade, you existing changes stay.

Subject: [rt-devel] Accepted place to make changes
If I want to make changes to certain behaviours in
RT - say I want to make a scroll box a drop down list
instead, or change the sort order of something on the
"Create a new ticket" screen - would I edit the
/rt3/share/html/Ticket/Create.html file? Or is there
a better place that would survive upgrading?
