Thank you! :)

We’re currently hard at work on RT 4.4 and RTIR 3.4. You’ll hear some news soon. ;)
In the meantime you can see the current set of issues that still need to be addressed by visiting our own RT instance:

Indeed. Some of the new features and improvements coming in RT 4.4 cause RTIR 3.2 to break down. Each RTIR version works best with its matching RT version, and so RTIR 3.4 will work with RT 4.4, and RTIR 3.2 works with RT 4.2.
So you will have much better luck testing the developer versions of RT 4.4 with the branch that will become RTIR 3.4, which is currently 3.4/reimplement-constituencies. https://github.com/bestpractical/rtir/tree/3.4/reimplement-constituencies We’ve done a lot of work to improve compatibility. It’s still not 100% compatible but that is our next goal to hit.

Beware that you’re testing a developer release of RT against an older production release of RTIR, and so there are definitely rough spots. If you’re eager to get started, RT 4.2 and RTIR 3.2 are well-deployed, well-tested, and well-supported.
You can always upgrade to RT 4.4 and RTIR 3.4 when they’re ready. :)
