Hehe doh, I just checked the configuration.

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php3 .html

Heheh so that's why apache did not recognise the code in the .html file
<& &> as a mason code.
So I deleted .html form that line. And it works  :)

I have images of Marc in well worn combat fatigues, covered in mud, 
sweat and blood, knife in one hand and PSION int he other, being 
restrained by several other people, screaming "Let me at it!
