[rt-users] Perl modules

Greetings,

I just know that this is a newbie Perl question, however I will ask it anyway..

When trying to install RT, how do you make visible the CPAN-build perl 
modules that has been created in the cpan directory in my home directory..? 
Is there an environmental variable that need to be set...? Or so they need 
to be placed in a special location..? Due to security reasons, I cannot 
build RT as root.
