[rt-users] New Install question

For some reason, when I'm installing I get this:

/usr/bin/perl   tools/initdb 'mysql' '/usr/local' 'localhost' '' 'root' 
'rt' create
Now creating a database for RT.
Enter the mysql password for root:

But MySQL *IS* working.

[root at stewie rt-2-0-9]# mysql -u root -p

Any ideas?
