[rt-users] queue monitor & notify?

Hi all,

I was wondering whether there is anything out there which will allow me
to notify ticket creators after a specific time interval if nothing has
been done about there request?

What I am thinking, is something in the line of a support desk getting
flooded with requests about various issues (they just happen to get
flooded with all their customers deciding to mail them at the same
time). Now, you may have 15 employees at your company answering email
(hell, only 15 in the entire company for that matter), while you have
let's say, 100,000 open or unassigned tickets in your RT database.

What I want to do now, is say after every two days, mail all the ticket
creators whos tickets are still not assigned or opened, and inform them
via something in the line of a autoresponder, that their ticket "has not
been forgotten"..... Does this make sense?? :)

It's kinda late here atm, so I'm not sure exactly how much sense I'm
typing, but I'm sure someone will understand what I mean :>
