Hello Terry,
I'll take a shot at answering you.
RT, as it stands, should probably run on ANY platform which has autoconf,
perl-5 (5.8 recommended) and rdbm application (MySQL, PgSQL, Oracle) and
a web server (apache). It does depend mostly on perl and since perl is
available on OS X (BTW, I don't run that at all, never ran it before even),
rt-3 will run on it. I can bet my life on that!
Tips on installing:
Install MySQL
Install Apache-1.3.27+modperl1
Install rt-3
In all cases, look at INSTALL notes. It should be fairly easy, especially
RT, because it knows how to install the perl modules that it needs.
