[rt-users] rt3.0.1 initialize database error: undefinded symbol: mysql_init

Hi, I'm trying to install rt3.0.1 and getting the following error with  
'make initialize-database':


Password: /usr/bin/perl: relocation error:  
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/auto/DBD/mysql/ 
mysql.so: undefined symbol: mysql_init
make: *** [initialize-database] Error 127


When I run perl sbin/rt-test-dependencies --with-myql --with-modperl2  
everything comes up clean, nothing missing.

I'm on RH8, mysql4.0.12
