[rt-users] mysql new install errors

i downloaded the latest DBD::mysql from here:

     http://www.helgrim.com/perlmodules/

and installed Msql and Mysql modules...

rm'd the initial installation directory for rt and unpacked it again.
make install run's clean, but when running make initialize-database i
get the same error:

ROOT at admin01:/usr/local/rt-3-0-6# make initialize-database
/usr/local/bin/perl //usr/local/rt/sbin/rt-setup-database --action init
--dba root --prompt-for-dba-password
In order to create a new database and grant RT access to that database,
this script needs to connect to your mysql instance on localhost as root.
Please specify that user's database password below. If the user has no
database
password, just press return.

/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.2/sun4-solaris/auto/DBD/mysql/mysql.so:
symbol mysql_init: referenced symbol not found
