I know this is very frustrating for those it does not work for. There is 
the test program (see list archives), which should check basic gdlib 
functionality. I have one report that installing RTFM broke Statistics 
generation. I will take care of this as soon as I can invest some time.

Please be patient! Patches are, of course, welcome!
