[rt-users] custom status?

G'day,

I want to set up an RT queue with my own status values. 

I could add a custom variable field to do this, but since I want to
call it "status", and its purpose would be to store status information,
I'm wondering if I can't just change the basic status variable to
contain the enum list of values that I want.

Is this possible? feasible? Relatively not a pain to do?
