I alway wondered what´s the real diffrence between the old and the new
version.

Maybee there could be a notice in the update-doc to delete
/opt/rt3/var/mason_data/obj after upgrading.

Ok. rm -rf /opt/rt3/var/mason_data/obj and restart your webserver.
You've got a cached 3.0 transaction display component that's still
running.
