[rt-users] Difference between Parent/Child and DependsOn/DependedOnBy

Hi,

Can someone explain the differences between the relationships: 
Parent/Child and DependsOn/DependedOnBy?

I've search the wiki and the lists by I don't see much difference in
relation to ticket relationships.
