By the way philip, it's better to copy and paste your output to the mail
so we can see wat is really happening. Something like

And there we well know your output and possibly help better.
Another thing...Have you thorough checked your httpd.conf file to see if
the entry there exactly matches the one in the manual?
More so...YOUR DNS CONFIGURATIONS!!! But if you can ping that url i.e
rt.phillip.com and it resolves well into an ip address, then you should be
ok.
Please search your logs (normally /var/log) and also the file you
specified where rt's logs to go. more so, check in /var/log/messages if
that file is there.
Otherwise,
the fsck.com/rtfm should be your best freind.
