[rt-users] Permission Denied error

Apache seems to start up okay, but when I try to browse to the site it 
gives me an Internal Server Error and says to check the server error 
log.  The error_log file in the apache log files says:
"Can't write to '/usr/local/rt2/log/rt.log0': Permission denied at 
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/Log/Dispatch/File.pm line 92.\n"

I've tried changing the permissions in both places but to now 
avail....any help or insight is greatly appreciated.
