[rt-users] Database gone

Hi all

i rebooted my RT3 server as it froze 
on reboot the rt3 database was gone (which of course ment everything was gone), and errors were caused everywhere.
i re did the make initialize-database, which recreated the database
but........
now the login screen is back and im trying the default password and user name - root
									       - password

this doesnt work ive tryed all different combinations to no avail
im stumped

any suggestions greatly appreciated
