Hi Ruslan,
I am still having the error being thrown when I run the command: # make
initialize-database.

root at example rt-3.4.1]#make initialize-database
[root at example rt-3.4.1]# Please specify that user's database password

Initally we had RT all set up but we decided to run it with apache2 and
fastcgi. We planned to do a re-installation of RT (same version). The
second installation of RT is being configured for the same database,
user name and password as the first one. We didn't drop the database of
the previous RT since we needed some already existing data.

Does make initialize-database create the tables in the database? We
intend to use the same tables of the previously installed RT. Can this
be done? What does the make initialize-database command actually do?
I appreciate any help extended.

Regards,
Ahalya Nathan.
