FWIW, I'm running my 3.4.1 on SuSE 9.2, with stock Apache 2, almost all
my perl 5.8.5 modules from rpm except DBD::Pg (see above :-), and
mod_perl 2.0.0rc4 from CPAN... and it seems to be working ok so far.

2.0.0 may be ready for prime time.
