Yes, I was planning this.

The problem is that the values in the FieldType hash in 
/opt/rt3/lib/RT/CustomField_Overlay.pm are used elsewhere, such as in 
the Admin/CustomFields/Modify.html page.  So if I remove the values, 
they also do not appear in the "type" combo box in the Create Custom 
Field page.

Is there any other way of removing these descriptions from appearing on 
pages other than the Create Custom Field Page?
