How can I test to make sure that mod_perl is working properly?

I don't have more ideas except one random:
perl -Mstrict -w -MDBI -e'my $dbh = DBI->connect("dbi:mysql:base=rt3",
"rt_user", "rt_pass", {RaiseError => 1});'

If it works I don't know where should you look.

ok, this mean you don't use devel mode.
