Ah, I see. I have it set like this:
Set($LogToSyslog , 'error');
Set($LogToScreen , 'error');
Set($LogToFile , 'notice');
So, I basically never see anything in my syslog (since RT is so great...)
but see stuff in the rt.log file with the timestamps as you said.
