[rt-users] Which Linux distribution recommended?

Tried installation as described on RHEL 4, FC6, FC5 and current Ubuntu but never succeded. Either Apache fails to restart or the RT-Mainpage does not come up.

I have installed other packages successfully, I know how to resolve dependencies etc but RT is a pain to me.

Any recommendations regarding which distro should be used or being avoided welcome.
