[rt-users] reall odd apache2 crashes with blank pages

i was told it is probably being caused by a bug in the version of DBD::mysql that we have currently installed (mine is 4.00.7, which is the one described in the link below as having this issue).

i am still trying to figure out if other stuff is causing it, but on monday i will downgrade to 4.00.5
(gentoo has no ebuild for 4.00.6 for some reason) if the issue is still occuring and let everyone know
if this fixes the problem.

(thanks to David Chandek-Stark for this information).

I am having a similar issue with 3.8.1 under Apache 2.2.9, Perl 5.10.0,
mod_perl 2.0.4, PHP 5.2.6, mySQL 5.0.45.

I verified I am using the newest Scalar::Util module (1.19) as well.

The biggest issue it is causing is when it happens while rt-mailgate is
attempting to delivery emails and they get stuck in the mail queue.
